An OnlyFans model has begged for mercy after she was found with a gun and gunshot residue on her hands, which prosecution claim is nefarious.

Alice Mabel Weekes – who was making as much as $12,000 per month posting explicit videos and photos on OnlyFans – was living a chaotic lifestyle when she found herself in trouble with the law.

Police searched a premises on May 29, 2022 and found methamphetamine on the coffee table and a sawn-off .22 calibre rifle inside a backpack on the couch.

An attached magazine contained rounds of ammunition.

Lisa Lakatos, for the prosecution, told the District Court this week that Weekes had gunshot residue on her hands and her DNA was located on the trigger guard and bolt of the firearm.

“Your Honour might find that she in fact fired the firearm given the existence of the gunshot residue on her hand,” she said.
“We maintain that the gun was possessed for a nefarious purpose but we can’t say exactly what for.”

Weekes pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm without a licence and possessing an unregistered firearm prior to trial.

Weekes’ co-accused, Leonard Robert Richard Wilkins was jailed last year after pleading guilty to drug trafficking, relating to the methamphetamine, and possessing the same gun.

The serious charges of false imprisonment, theft, arson and discharging a firearm to injure, annoy or frighten a person were dropped against the duo after a court previously heard the alleged victim, Corey James McGhee, refused to co-operate with police and supply a statement.

The court heard Weekes, who also pleaded guilty to theft, stole $5000 from the father of her child.

Sean Nottle, for Weekes, told the court, his client’s offending occurred during a dysfunctional and chaotic period in her life after her life spiralled into drug use.

“She describes her use of methamphetamine as a blanket that she would wrap herself in to try and comfort her and the feelings she was experiencing,” he said.

Mr Nottle said the theft occurred during a relationship breakdown and in a period of financial stress for Weekes who stole the money after still having access to their joint accounts.

“It is an offence that carries all the characteristics of perhaps a spiteful or vengeful action taken by somebody who has perceived some slights against them from a former partner,” he said.

Mr Nottle pushed for a suspended or home detention sentence, saying Weekes has mental health issues and experienced a significant amount of trauma in her life.

“Ms Weekes has most recently been able to demonstrate an ability to get her life back on track,” he said.

Weekes will be sentenced later this month.
