The latest radio ratings results are in. It is the second to last survey for 2024 and the final one for SAFM’s now defunct Bec and Soda show. See how they did here.

SAFM Adelaide's Bec & Soda axed

SAFM has made the right choice in deciding to revamp its breakfast show judging by the latest radio ratings results.

The pairing of Rebecca Morse and Mark Soderstrom, which abruptly came to an end last month, failed to improve its ranking, losing share points.

Last survey the Bec and Soda show placed sixth with 9.0 share points and this time around its in the same spot on 7.8, down 1.2.

This survey is obviously the last one for the Bec and Soda show, which is now no more after Soderstrom left for personal reasons and Morse decided to hang up her mic early and she was told her contract would not be renewed.

The final week of the ratings survey period coincided with Soderstrom and Morse’s exits.

The duo has been relaced by Bernie Vince and Emma “G” Georgiadis, who made their debut on Monday, November 11.

In other radio ratings results, SAFM’s sister station Triple M is still No. 1 in the breakfast timeslot with 14.8, up 1.8.

It’s quite a victory because it means Triple M’s breakfast hosts Mark Ricciuto, Chris Dittmar and Laura O’Callaghan have been in top spot for 14 consecutive surveys.

FIVEaa brekky co-hosts David Penberthy and Will Goodings are in second spot on 12.2, up 1.0.

ABC Adelaide breakfast presenters Jules Schiller and Sonya Feldhoff are third with 10.9, after a dip of 0.5.

Nova 919’s Jodie Oddy and Andrew Hayes are still fourth with 10.6, down 0.3.

Mix 102.3’s brekky presenters Ali Clarke and Max Burford’s show Max and Ali in the Morning are fifth again with 10.4, up 0.8.

Mix 102.3 is still Adelaide’s No. 1 station overall with 13.5. It is a back-to-back win.

The position had been held by Triple M for three surveys straight. That station is in second spot with 12.6, followed by Nova 919 with 10.9.

The final radio ratings results for 2024 will be released on December 17.
