Guilty verdict: Who are the seven Hells Angels-linked men who murdered Jason De Ieso

Seven bikie linked-men shot dead an innocent panel beater in his Pooraka workshop on November 21, 2012.

More than a decade after Jason De Ieso’s death seven men including brothers Husain Alzuain, 36, of Goodwood, Mohamed Alzuain, 32, of Mile End and Musa Ali Alzuain, 30, of St Morris, along with Daniel Mark Jalleh, 34, of Clovelly Park, Ross William Montgomery, 38, of Andrews Farm, Kyle Lloyd Pryde, 35, of Adelaide and Nicholas Sianis, 36, of Beverley, were found guilty by jury of murder in the Supreme Court.

The jury was unable to reach a verdict on Seywan Moradi, 36, of Walkley Heights. Mr Moradi had pleaded not guilty at the start of the trial and has maintained his innocence.

Husain Alzuain

The oldest of the Alzuain brothers at 36, Husain Alzuain was living at Goodwood at the time of his arrest. The court heard he became a Hells Angels prospect between February 2010 and May 13, 2010 before going on to become a fully patched member on or about March 9, 2011.

Mohamed Alzuain

The middle of the Alzuain brothers at 32, Mohamed Alzuain was born in July 1991. He was living at Mile End at the time of his arrest in August 2019. He became a Hells Angels prospect on or about July 4, 2012 before receiving his full gang colours on or about July 4, 2013. He ceased being a member by November 2014.

Musa Ali Alzuain

Musa Alzuain is the youngest of the Alzuain brothers and the youngest among the accused men at 30. He was arrested in August 2019 while living at St Morris. He never became a prospect or member of the Hells Angels but was closely linked to the gang. The champion boxer had a dream of competing at the Tokyo Olympics.

Daniel Mark Jalleh

Daniel Jalleh was arrested in August 2019 alongside the Alzuain brothers, while he was living at Clovelly Park. The 34-year-old became a Hells Angels prospect in January 2012 before going on to become a fully patched member the following year in January 2013.

Ross William Montgomery

Ross Montgomery, of Andrews Farm, is the oldest among the accused at 38 and became a “hangaround” of the Hells Angels sometime prior to November 4, 2012. He went on to become a prospect sometime prior to March 28, 2013 before becoming a full member between October 5, 2013 and January 13, 2014.

Kyle Lloyd Pryde

Kyle Pryde, of Adelaide, handed himself into police in Queensland in October 2020 after six weeks on the run. The 35-year-old was then extradited to South Australia. He became a Hells Angels prospect sometime prior to July 5, 2012 before gaining his full membership on or about January 16, 2013.

Nicholas Sianis

Nicholas Sianis was the seventh man arrested in connection to Mr De Ieso’s murder. The 36-year-old, of Beverley, became a Hells Angels prospect prior to November 4, 2012. A few months later, on or about January 16, 2013, he became a fully patched member of the gang.
