Drink driving P-plater busted after he was spotted crawling from truck wreckage at Clarendon in Adelaide Hills
An over-the-limit P-plater who escaped the wreckage of a rolled truck unscathed – then allegedly fled the scene – didn’t avoid the long arm of the law for long.

A man who crawled from a wreckage of a rolled-over truck and allegedly fled the scene will lose his licence.
Police were called to Grants Gully Rd in Clarendon about 10.30pm on Monday after reports that a small Isuzu truck had rolled.
When police arrived they found the truck on its side, but no driver.
However, witnesses provided police with a description of a man they had seen crawling out of the wreck before the man allegedly fled the scene on foot.
Police rushed to a nearby Clarendon home where they found a 46-year-old from NSW.
He was breath-tested and allegedly returned a positive result of 0.040 despite only holding a P licence.
He received an expiation for drink driving in a prescribed vehicle and breaching P licence conditions.
The truck was towed from the scene.
The crash happened on the same day another truck, this time a rubbish truck, rolled over on the Southern Expressway.
Police were called to Main South Rd, Noarlunga Downs, about 7am on Monday after the truck, which had been travelling south, lost control and tipped over, sparking a lane closure and speed restrictions.
