Major delays after truck rollover on Southern Expressway

Commuters experienced early-morning travel pain after a rubbish truck rolled at the southern end of the Southern Expressway on Monday.

Motorists were warned to expect major delays after a rubbish truck rolled at the southern end of the Southern Expressway on Monday morning.

Police were called to Main South Rd, Noarlunga Downs, about 7am after the truck, which had been travelling south, lost control and tipped over.

There were speed restrictions in the area and one lane was closed for south-bound traffic as the truck was towed away.

The driver of the truck was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
