The Porsche driver at the centre of April’s horror Eastern Freeway crash that killed four police officers has sold his Doncaster East townhouse for $1.055m.

Richard Pusey’s two-storey townhouse at 1/6 Champion Street sold in November after months on the market, with an initial expressions of interest campaign that closed on June 30.

A deal was struck for the four-bedroom pad a few weeks after the 42-year-old mortgage broker walked free from a remand prison after being granted bail in October.

He faces a series of charges laid against him following the tragedy and is due to return to court for another directions hearing on December 15.

The Champion Street townhouse was part of a $12m property portfolio owned by Mr Pusey and his wife, Anh Truong.

CoreLogic records show the property was built in 2016 and has been listed for rent several times since then, most recently for $600 per week in late 2018.

It was listed via RT Edgar Manningham, which described it as having “a modern atmosphere in a great location in the heart of Doncaster East”.
