Young man fighting for his life after motorbike crash at Brigalow

Multiple Qld paramedics and a LifeFlight rescue crew were on scene working to save a rider in his 20s after an accident on a private property.

A man has suffered life-threatening head and chest injuries in a motorbike crash at Brigalow, west of Dalby.

A young man is fighting for his life after coming off a motorbike at an address on Haystack Road at Brigalow.

Emergency services were called to the Western Downs property, west of Dalby about 8am on Saturday.

A man, aged in his 20s, suffered critical head and chest injuries in a motorbike crash a Brigalow, in the Western Downs, on January 11, 2025.

It is believed the man, aged in his 20s, crashed into a tree and was found unconscious by friends.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the crews located the man, who had suffered life-threatening chest and head injuries.

He was treated at the scene and transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a crtical condition by a LifeFlight rescue chopper.
