Bundaberg West man Jail Wheatley-Morphett found ‘safe and well’

A missing Bundaberg man has been found safe and well.

A man reported missing from Bundaberg West has been located safe and well.

Earlier, Jai Wheatley-Morphett, 25, had been reported missing after he was last seen leaving a hospital on Bourbong St at 4.15pm on Wednesday, June 18.

“Police and family hold concerns for his welfare due to a medical condition that requires treatment,” a Queensland Police Service statement released on Saturday read.

“Jai is described as caucasian, approximately 179cm tall, with brown hair and brown eyes.

“Investigators are appealing to Jai, or anyone who may have seen him or who knows his whereabouts, to contact police.”

An update from police on Saturday said he had been located safe and thanked the media and community for its assistance.
