An 18-year-old man has died after the motorbike he was riding slammed into a parked car in Brisbane overnight.

Emergency services at the scene Sunday night.

An 18-year-old man has died after the motorbike he was riding slammed into a parked car in Brisbane’s inner-east overnight.

Police said the motorcycle was travelling south on Hawthorne Rd at Hawthorne about 7.40pm Sunday when it hit the parked and unoccupied ute.

The rider, from Fortitude Valley, died at the scene.

The Courier Mail understands the teen delivered for Uber Eats and had completed an Uber Eats delivery at some point on Sunday.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations are under way.
