The family of teenage murder victim Angus Beaumont have called for an urgent overhaul of the state’s youth justice laws, warning more people will die if action is not taken.

A shocking one in five Queensland children in year 9 were withdrawn or absent from this year’s NAPLAN testing as the cohort fell behind its state counterparts in writing and reading.

Over the next four years it is hoped at least $5.66bn will be collected and returned to the budget

And… grocery prices continue to skyrocket across the country but young people are still finding spare cash to wine, dine and improve their looks.
