In their first official tour Down Under since their fairytale wedding was watched by more than 1 billion people in May, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will arrive in Melbourne today.
The royal couple flew into Sydney on Monday.
The visit comes as part of the pair’s first major overseas tour which includes Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga.

During a whirlwind one-day tour of Melbourne, the couple will fly in this morning before greeting royal fans and wellwishers at Government House Drive from 10.30am.

Their first appearance in Melbourne on October 18 will be a walkabout to meet members of the public at Government House Drive.
The couple will then attend a reception at Government House, visit a local primary school to meet with students about their sustainability programs and – the crowning jewel – ride an iconic Melbourne tram to South Melbourne beach where they will meet volunteers from a local beach patrol to talk about their environmental efforts.
With crowd numbers expected to surge into the thousands authorities are encouraging people to arrive early.
Throughout the day the pair will meet youth and community groups aimed at empowering people through sport and partake in various sustainability programs dotted across the city.
The Australian leg also includes six nights in Sydney, a visit to drought-ravaged Dubbo in NSW, and a night on world heritage-listed Fraser Island.
The couple will return to Sydney on October 27 for the closing ceremony of the Invictus Games.
Prince Harry — who is Patron of the Invictus Games — created the multi-sport event for wounded and recovering service members and veterans in 2014.
This is the first time the Games have been held in Australia.
Australia’s taste of royal fever comes as Princess Eugenie’s marriage to Jack Brooksbank attracted more than 1 million viewers on the weekend.
Airing as a Seven News Special, Princess Eugenie’s wedding ceremony was the most watched program on Friday night with 1.060 million metro viewers.
However it failed to beat Harry and Meghan’s ceremony earlier this year which saw an average of 1.95 million punters tune in.
