SCHOOLYARD rivalries escalated into an all-in brawl at Penrith’s Westfield this afternoon.
The violent altercation allegedly broke out between dozens of students from St Dominic’s College, Jamison High School and McCarthy Catholic College about at 3pm.
While footage of the alleged incident is circulating on Facebook, no charges have been laid yet.
A police spokeswoman said the scrap, which ended when police arrived, was being looked into.
“Police were called to a shopping centre on High St at Penrith at about 3.30pm, following reports of a brawl in a food court,” she said.
‘Officers from Penrith LAC attended and found 20-30 students fighting. The officers dispersed the group. No arrests have been made and inquiries are continuing.”
