Paddington P-plater Jade Muscat allegedly caught speeding three times in one day

A teenage girl from Sydney’s eastern suburbs has had her $90,000 car confiscated by police, after she was allegedly caught driving dangerously three times in one day, clocking up speeds of more than 200km/h.
Nineteen-year-old Jade Muscat had her black Jaguar F-Pace seized by police on Saturday, after she was allegedly busted speeding down the Hume Highway three times in three hours.
The P-plater came to the attention of police after other motorists reported her alleged dangerous driving to triple-0, telling cops they witnessed her speeding near the small town of Gunning.
Officers attached to the NSW Police Traffic and Highway Patrol Command first stopped Muscat around 10.40am, after she was allegedly detected travelling in excess of the 110km/h speed limit.
She was issued with an infringement notice for exceeding the speed limit more than 20km/h.
However, just an hour-and-five minutes later she was allegedly caught again, this time further down the Hume near Gundagai.
Police allege they caught Muscat travelling at a whopping 215km/hr in a 110km/hr zone.
She was charged with driving recklessly/furiously or speed/manner dangerous, and P2 driver exceeded speed more than 45 km/h.
Her P2 licence was suspended on the spot, and her vehicle licence plates were confiscated for three months.
However, it’s alleged she got back behind the wheel for a third time – busted 90 minutes later still travelling on the Hume 16 kilometres outside Albury.
Police allege she was again travelling almost 100km over the limit, this time reaching speeds of 201km in a 110km/h zone.
She was ordered out of the Jaguar and into the back of a police vehicle, before she was taken to Albury Police Station.
She was charged with several additional offences, including drive recklessly/furiously or speed/manner dangerous, class A motor vehicle exceed speed more than 45 km/h, drive motor vehicle while licence suspended, operate vehicle during number-plate confiscation period, and tamper with number-plate confiscation notice.
She was granted conditional bail, and returned to her home in the ritzy suburb of Paddington.
Muscat will first face court in Albury later this month, before also appearing at court in Gundagai in June.
