Manly Sea Eagles star Tom Trbojevic was the man of the moment at the NSWRL Brad Fittler Medal for an outstanding 2021 but there were plenty of others turning heads on a special rugby league awards night
The brilliant Trbojevic won the Brad Fittler Medal after his stellar performance in the Blues State of Origin series.
And success is rewarded by popularity with the gun also winning The Daily Telegraph People’s Choice Award.
“I’ve always admired Brad Fittler; he’s a legend of the game and has done it all for NSW and now to be coached by him and win an award named after him is something special,” Trbojevic said. “It’s pretty surreal, I’m very honoured.”
While Trbojevic stole the limelight there were plenty of others in the spotlight on the blue carpet and for other special awards on the night.
