Ms Dixon’s great uncle Eric Dixon, sister Polly Cotton, drama teacher Tracy Carroll and five friends are understood to have spoken during the service.

The order of service showed images of a young, smiling girl and a woman on stage in a polka dot dress.

Pictures of You by The Cure and Johnny Cash’s We’ll Meet Again were among the songs on the service playlist at the private service in Brunswick.

Ms Dixon’s body was found on a soccer pitch in Princes Park, Carlton North, after walking home alone following a performance at Melbourne’s Highlander Bar on June 12.

Her death prompted comment from state and territory leaders including Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.

Victorian women’s affairs minister Natalie Hutchins said Australia is enduring a “gendered violence crisis”, with 30 women already murdered in the nation in 2018.

“(Eurydice) was denied her right to get home safely, she was denied her right to life,” she told parliament on Tuesday.

Ms Dixon’s death captured the hearts of Australians, with thousands attending vigils in her honour, including at Princes Park where her body was found.

Jaymes Todd, 19 of Broadmeadows, is charged with her rape and murder.
