UPDATE: An investigation into an early morning fire at Main Rd, Moonah has found the blaze at a laundry service started as a result of a large pile of tea towels overheating after they had been removed from the dryer.

FIRE investigators and an electrical inspector are currently working to determine what caused a fire at Moonah Laundromat on Main Rd, Moonah early this morning.
Three crews from Hobart Fire Brigade were called to the fire at 5:30 this morning after a passer-by called Tasmania Fire Service to report smoke coming from the building.
The fire has caused minor damage to the back corner of the building and has not resulted in any structural damage.
No one was injured in the fire.
The investigators have concluded the fire is not deliberate but are still yet to determine the specific accidental cause.
The investigation is expected to take some time and further details will be provided by media release once it is complete.
