THE 33-year-old alleged driver involved in a fatal crash on Wednesday night has surrendered himself to the Bulman Police Station and has been arrested by local police.

The man faces six charges, including driving a motor vehicle causing death and driving under the influence of alcohol.

The man has also been charged with driving a vehicle with suspended entitlement, driving an unregistered motor vehicle, driving an uninsured motor vehicle and a hit and run causing death, after the car rolled.

Police said on Thursday that a 48-year-old man was found dead at the scene of the crash on the Central Arnhem Hwy near Bulman.

Two others were injured in the incident.

The man has been granted bail to appeal in Katherine Local Court on February 11 next year.
