Landslip shuts road at Fyansford

A landslip at Fyansford has led to road closures as emergency services work to clear the way for motorists.

A landslip at Fyansford has led to road closures which are set to remain in place until Tuesday.

Deviation Road – between Hyland Street at Fyansford and Gaylard Ave – is closed as emergency services work to clear the landslip.

VicRoads said on Monday night that the closure was expected to be in place through Tuesday.

VicTraffic has posted an alert urging motorists to instead travel along Ballarat Road and the Geelong Ring Road.

VicRoads was first notified on the incident at 11.30pm on Sunday night.

As of Monday morning the landslip had not been fully cleared.
