Tributes continue to pour in for a Kingborough father and his two-year-old daughter, who died in a multi-vehicle car crash last week.

This morning, flowers and a small pink unicorn were attached to the guard rail on Algona Road, near where the pair tragically lost their lives.

The two-vehicle collision on Algona Rd, 900m south of the Fork in the Road roundabout at Kingston, happened at 8.40am on Thursday when a bus and a black sedan collided head-on.

The driver of the white 1998 Hino passenger bus, a 68-year-old-woman from Blackmans Bay, was the sole occupant and was taken to Royal Hobart hospital with non-life-threatening injuries but sadly, the two occupants of the black Lexus sedan were killed.

“My deepest of sympathy to their family and friends, I just can’t even begin to imagine your heartache, my heart hurts for you all,” Angela Patterson said.

“Thoughts are with the family and the first responders. Always with her daddy,” Gail Daryl wrote.

“My heart goes out to the man and girl’s loved ones family and friends my heart breaks for you all,” Karen Schultz said.

Hobart City Mayor Anna Reynolds also left a tribute on Cr Winter’s page.

“I am so sorry to hear this tragic news,” Cr Reynolds said.

“A double fatality involving a child is so incredibly sad for the family and everyone in your community.”
