TIGERS great Matthew Richardson has publicly announced the arrival of his daughter, Zoey Isabella, on Father’s Day.
The former star full forward posted a picture on Instagram of himself and partner, Genevieve Holliday with their bundle of joy on Sunday.
“Happy Father’s Day. Zoey Isabella. #greattimes,” Richardson captioned.
Melbourne socialites were among hundreds to congratulate the couple on their joyous news.
Footy fans have already begun to link Zoey Isabella with a future in the AFLW.
The birth marks another celebration for keen supporters, already exuberant from Dustin Martin’s deal to stay with the club, which is eyeing finals.
Richardson and Holliday via social media in April announced they were expecting.
“It’s going to be a pretty special September,” Ms Holliday said.
“Big September ahead. Foreign territory for me,” Richardson quipped.
Richardson, 42, played 282 games for Richmond before he retired in 2009.
