OLYMPIA Valance has extra reason to smile ahead of Sunday’s Logies, with the Neighbours beauty to be joined on the big night by best friend and castmate Mavournee Hazel.

OLYMPIA Valance has extra reason to smile ahead of Sunday’s Logies.

The Neighbours beauty will be joined on television’s big night by her best friend and castmate, Mavournee Hazel, and is set to stand out on the red carpet in a gown by designer Con Ilio.

“I am so excited and I know we’re sitting next to each other,’’ Valance said.

“My dress is definitely out there and full-on. It’s different to anything you’ve ever seen. I suggested it.

“It’s a few inspirations I’ve had for over a year and I always look back and think, ‘I still love that’. It’s always nice to have a designer who is just as excited as you.”

Valance and Hazel will return to the Neighbours set on Monday after a break from filming.

Hazel is making her Logies debut, styled by Lana Wilkinson and wearing a gown by Sonia Cappellazzo. “I was so nervous but after fittings and talking through it I’m so pumped,’’ Hazel said.

“I have no idea what to expect.”

The girls prepared together at Crown Towers and Crown Spa.
