NOTORIOUS underworld figure Christopher ‘Badness’ Binse has unleashed an appalling expletive insult at judge Terry Forrest during a bizarre rant at the Supreme Court this morning.

Binse — who has changed his surname to Pecotic — appeared before Justice Forrest this morning for a mention hearing to deal with procedural matters before his upcoming plea on historical robbery charges.

But Binse launched into a tirade about going blind in custody before delivering the robe-rattling insult straight to His Honour.

“When they said I was going before T. Forrest I thought I don’t want that c---. He smashed me out of the ballpark last time,” Binse said via video link.

Justice Forrest took the insult in his stride, telling Binse he had heard the view expressed before.

But Binse continued with his rant, claiming previous lawyers had betrayed him and said one of the state’s experienced forensic psychiatrists had provided a false assessment of him to the court.

He then accused Justice Forrest of being “poisoned” against him.

The comment prompted Jutsice Forrest to advise Binse to make a formal application for a new judge to hear his plea.

“If you think I’m poisoned, apply for me to be disqualified. If you don’t want that, then don’t keep saying it,” Justice Forrest said.

Binse also said he was glad his case was gaining media attention because it was exposing corruption.

“The genie is in the bottle,” Binse said.

Justice Forrest replied: “I think you want (the genie) out of the bottle.”

In February, Binse pleaded guilty at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court to seven armed robberies he confessed to that occurred in 1988, 1989 and 1991 which netted him a total of $390,000.

Justice Forrest is now handling the matter and will hear Binse’s plea on November 15.

Binse was also responsible for a 48-hour siege in Keilor East where he kept police at bay.

The siege ended after police surrounding the house fired tear gas into the home that forced him out.
