JAILHOUSE lawyer Hugo Rich's latest appeal against his murder conviction has been smacked down by the Court of Appeal.

Rich, a serial courtroom pest, has launched several appeals against his 2009 conviction for murdering security guard Erwin Kastenberger during a hold-up at a Blackburn North shopping centre in March 2005.

COLD-BLOODED: JAILED FOR 30 YEARS, BUT NO ANSWERS

Rich launched 10 grounds of appeal against conviction and a further three against his sentence.

But the Court of Appeal this morning ruled against his latest legal manouvering in a brief 30-second hearing this morning.

A previous appeal against the conviction was branded "unintelligible" by the court.
