DETECTIVES have arrested six men and a woman accused of conducting a string of burglaries that targeted commercial businesses across Melbourne’s southeastern suburbs.

DETECTIVES have arrested six men and a woman accused of conducting a string of burglaries that targeted commercial businesses over the month of January.
Kingston Crime Investigation Unit detectives on Wednesday made the arrests in relation to burglaries in the southern suburbs of Melbourne.

Police allege the string of thefts occurred in the south and eastern suburbs between January 8 and 31.
Investigators charged a 23-year-old Keysborough man with ten counts of burglary, one count of theft, one count of attempted burglary and one count of attempted theft of a motor vehicle.
“A 24-year-old Rowville man who was also arrested in relation to a series of Burglaries on January 31,” Leading Senior Constable Natalie Dean said.
“He has been charged with one count of burglary, three counts of theft and one count of attempted theft of motor a vehicle”.
Police also arrested a 23-year-old Springvale man who has been charged with six counts of burglary and theft, one count of theft of a motor vehicle and trafficking a drug of dependence.
All three men have been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrate’s court on Thursday.
“Three other men, a 27-year-old Noble Park man, a 26-year-old Dandenong North man and a 21-year-old Keysborough man, along with a 26-year-old Noble Park woman have all been released pending further inquiries,” Ms Dean said.
