Gangland widow Roberta Williams will be allowed to move house after a court approved her new bail conditions.

The underworld figure arrived with minutes to spare for her 10am court appearance, after missing her date with the magistrate last week.

The same could not be said for her partner and surety, who did not appear until 20 minutes later, delaying the hearing.

Williams requested a bail variation to allow her to change her residential address.

The move was unopposed by police prosecutors.

Wearing a grey turtleneck jumper and with a Louis Vuitton purse dangling from her wrist, Williams sat in the back row of the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court next to her partner, who kept his arm around her.

In the witness box, the man — who told the court he was a dog trainer — was discreetly passed two pieces of paper with Williams’ old and new address and asked to confirm the change.

The addresses were not read aloud to the court.

The former wife of slain drug kingpin Carl Williams was bailed last month after being charged over a dramatic kidnap and extortion plot involving the would-be producer of her reality TV show.

During the earlier expletive-ridden late night filing hearing, Williams had pleaded with a magistrate to release her while she and her co-accused awaited their next court appearance.

But there was none of last month’s fiery exchanges when Williams and her lawyer fronted the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.

The mother-of-two remained tight-lipped outside court, refusing to answer questions from the media.

In August, Magistrate Bob Kumar granted bail on strict conditions including a curfew and daily reporting to police.

She also has to pay a $10,000 surety.

During the bail application, the court heard Williams allegedly threatened her victim, Ryan Naumenko, who was a producer helping her to make her reality TV show, on July 9.

Mr Naumenko told police Williams ordered her three co-accused to “kill the c---” after forcing him to ask relatives to transfer $17,000 to a bank account in two separate transactions.

During the ordeal, Mr Naumenko said his attackers put a bar fridge cord around his neck and repeatedly punched him in the face.

When he tried to text for help, they threatened to cut off his fingers and break his hands, the court heard.

Williams will return to court for a committal mention next month.
