A driver has fled after crashing into the side of a house at Reservoir in Melbourne’s north this morning.

No one was inside the house at the corner of Cheddar Rd and Liston Ave when the black Holden Commodore careened into it shortly after 7am, police said.

It came about 30 minutes after a three-car collision in the same suburb, at Spring and Crawley streets, which left each driver in hospital.

A Toyota Hilux clipped a Ford Focus, which then rolled and collided with a Holden Barina.

All three drivers suffered minor injuries and police are investigating.

3AW listener, Shaun, told the radio station he saw a car hooning before hitting a power pole just south of Reservoir station.

“He clipped another car before he hit the power pole,” Shaun said.

“(He was) probably going about 100 clicks an hour with the turbo or something and (the) car backfiring.

“He’s not in a good way at all.”

Anyone with information on either crash should phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
