Police have busted up several hoon meets across Melbourne overnight, using capsicum spray and issuing a huge number of fines.
More than 300 people attended events across Sunshine West, Tullamarine, Derrimut and Keilor Park, with footage revealing the true nature of the dodgy meet.
All face the offence of “attending a hoon event”, which carries an $800 fine.
In total about $240,000 in fines are set to be issued.

Police swooped on the gatherings after complaints from local residents.
A 17-year-old male was sprayed with capsicum spray at one event.
He is expected to be charged on summons with hindering police and offensive language.
Acting Senior Sergeant Andy Oakleigh said that he expected more than 300 people to be fined after last night’s hoon gathering.
“We’re coming for all of these people, we were filming them last night, expect a knock on the door,” Snr Sgt Oakleigh said.
“Some did get away because they broke through a fence and got onto the freeway.”
Snr Sgt Oakleigh backed up his officers’ decision to deploy capsicum spray on a 17-year-old boy.
“He was present at the hoon meet, as were the other people that were in his car at all the stops along the way,” Snr Sgt Oakleigh said. “[It was] absolutely justified.”
Victoria Police, on its crime prevention Eyewatch page on Facebook, warned those who attended they would be subject to fines.
“Attendees were found from all over the northern suburbs,” the Facebook post says. “Some to skid and some to watch.
“A tip for the organisers; others have (been) sentenced to prison for organising such events.
“And for the 300 odd people that attended, check your mailbox next week for the $800 Brimbank council ticket for attending.
“If the car is registered in mum’s name you might have a bit of explaining to do.
“These events will not be tolerated in Brimbank.”
