Charges have been laid over a major police operation centred on the Gotham City brothel.

Victoria Police have confirmed a 43-year-old Camberwell man will face court on 15 offences after a raid on the prominent sex venue six months ago.

The charged man is facing counts of possessing a drug of dependence, possessing property suspected of being the proceeds of crime and carrying on a business as a sexual service without holding a licence.

He will face court next week.

Search warrants were executed at the Clarke St business on June 6 by officers from the Prahran divisional response unit.

In a separate investigation, police on Monday raided the former Daily Planet brothel in Elsternwick, which has been converted into a rehab service.
