Lying Tinder rapist Ratu Bose claimed to be sniper, sous chef
He was a hedonist and serial liar who met women on Tinder and moved in with them. Then the abuse and violence started. Ratu Bose would rape and taunt his victims, with one so desperate to escape him she fled naked from their house.

An “entitled” rapist who met his victims on Tinder while claiming he worked as a sniper in the French military and a sous-chef in Switzerland will spend at least nine years behind bars.
Ratu Bose, 33, learned his fate at the County Court after being found guilty in March of three counts of rape and one of assault after the attacks against two women, spanning from April 2016 to January 2017.
The convicted rapist bit his bottom lip and shook his head as Judge Trevor Wraight imposed a maximum of 12 and a half years imprisonment.
“Women are entitled to live independently without the fear of sexual predators like you seeking them out, abusing them and then ultimately sexually assaulting them,” Judge Wraight told the man.
The court heard Bose had a pattern of meeting women online, developing short, intense relationships with them and relying on them financially.

He would then turn violent and aggressive and verbally abuse the women, including calling them fat.
He made wild claims to the women, including that he was married to a wealthy Swiss woman and was working as a sniper, as well as on a super yacht.
After being raped, one of Bose’s victims ran out of her home naked, jumped in her car and drove to a friend for help.
He headbutted his other victim, causing her to bite her tongue, before raping her.
He also threatened both of the women who reported him to police and told one he would ruin her life by posting videos of her to YouTube.
Judge Wraight said he was not confident Bose could be rehabilitated.
“You continue to deny the offences and you have committed a subsequent violent offence against another woman,” he said.
“You do pose or will pose a risk on your release.”
Bose will be placed on the sex offenders register for the rest of his life.

A psychological assessment by Simon Candlish read during the sentencing found Bose to have narcissistic personality disorder and depression.
He was deemed to have developed a “superior or special” view of himself.
“His entitlement extended to sexual entitlement and his frequent sexual encounters and infidelities appeared to reinforce these entitlement attitudes,” Mr Candlish’s report stated.
“Mr Bose appeared to seek to maintain a hedonistic lifestyle involving limited work, being financially supported by partners and maintaining multiple sexual partners whilst in relationship.”
Speaking outside court after the sentence was handed down, one of the victims asked any other women affected by Bose to come forward.
“It was really hard but I am really happy with the outcome,” she told media.
“I’m sure that there are a lot of other girls out there and if they are scared to come forward, come forward. Do it. Do it for all of us.”
Bose grew up in Fiji and moved to Australia during school.
Due to delays in the trial, Bose has already been in custody for more than two years.
