WHAT TRIGGERED YOUTH GANGS’ TAYLORS HILL RAMPAGE
The rampage comes five months after a riot involving more than 100-out-of-control youths rioting in the same suburb, with projectiles thrown and a police car window smashed.
The August incident, which started at Watergardens before moving to Taylors Hill at Lonzo Park, was believed to be over a girl, police said at the time.
No one was arrested but mounted police patrols were brought in to reassure the community.
Terrified residents reported youths rampaging through the streets and bragging that police couldn’t touch them.
