A WOMAN had the fright of her life after waking up to a number of armed men threatening to kill her if she didn’t hand over money.
Five men of African appearance stormed in to the Greensborough share house by kicking down the door and stole money and cars.
Breakfast radio caller Tony told 3AW’s Neil Mitchell of his daughter’s horrific ordeal.
“Five men of African kicked their door in, entered her bedroom towering over the top of her with wooden stakes demanding money,” he said.
“They kept saying ‘if you don’t give us your money we’re going to kill you’”.
Once Tony’s daughter handed over her money the offenders ransacked the house with machetes.
“They grabbed the car keys and left, jumped in two or three cars, stole them and drove off,” Tony said.
“It’s just a very brazen attack.”
Earlier this week, teenagers posed as police in yet another terrifying home invasion in Glen Iris.
The teen intruders ordered a terrified couple from their bed before stealing a Mercedes which they later used to commit other crimes.
A girl — aged just 13 — was arrested in connection to the burglary.
