A FEMME fatale and two goons under her spell have been sentenced to a combined total of 84 years in jail for the murder of her former boyfriend Wayne Amey
Former stripper Robyn Lindholm, her lover Torsten Trabert and John Ryan murdered Amey and then stuffed his body between two boulders at Mount Korong in December 2013.
Justice Lex Lasry said the murder was carried out with extreme violence and driven by the drug ice.
“For years my colleagues and I have watched this problem (of ice) develop,” Justice Lasry said.
“I question the will of executive government to inhibit the trade and consumption of ice.”
Justice Lasry sentenced Lindholm to 25 years in jail and ordered her to serve at least 21 years, Trabert to 28 years with a minimum of 23, and Ryan to 31 years with a 26 year minimum.
After the gruesome murder, the trio went to a rural pub for a celebratory drink
Mr Amey’s fatal mistake was attending a seedy businessmen’s lunch at Richmond strip club in 2003 where he met Lindholm.
Prosecutor Gavin Silbert SC earlier branded Lindholm a femme fatale who controlled men and had been involved in an intense drug-fuelled sexual relationship with Trabert.
“Mr Trabert was infatuated with her. He left his wife and children,” Mr Silbert said.
“He was involved in an intense sexual relationship with her.”
Amey and Lindholm were involved in an acrimonious breakup and were due in court the day after the alleged murder to settle a dispute over a farm in Bittern they jointly owned.
The dispute was the driving force behind the murder.
Neither Ryan or Trabert knew Amery well but agreed to get involved in the “contract killing” because they were under the influence of Lindholm, Mr Silbert said.
“She had an uncanny ability to manipulate men,” Mr Silbert said.
