A COP who was at Uluru when Azaria Chamberlain disappeared maintains there was "human intervention", but not by the Chamberlains.
"There was still some human intervention involved but I'm saying that with absolutely no reference to the Chamberlains," former officer Frank Morris said.
Evidence supporting the human intervention theory lay in Azaria's jumpsuit, which was found about 5km from where the Chamberlains were camping.
Coroner Elizabeth Morris' findings in full
Analysis: Azaria ruling finally falls on the right side
"How did it get there?" Mr Morris asked. "There was no blood where this baby was supposedly savaged out of a jumpsuit."
He said the Coroner's finding would not change the opinions of those sceptics "heavily involved" more than three decades ago.
"I don't think the Coroner got everything right," he said.
Coroner Elizabeth Morris said there were still myths in the public domain after the royal commission that exonerated Lindy and Michael Chamberlain.
She said questions about clothing, blood, hand prints and dingo hair were addressed by the commission.
But Mr Morris said: "It appears as though someone had dumped her there."
