A BOUNCER has spent two weeks in hospital after being attacked by a gang of machete-wielding thugs.
Police are still hunting the men who set upon Mashal Amin at the Keysborough Hotel in Corrigan Rd in Melbourne’s southeast about 1.30am on February 21.
The incident began when the men took their drinks outside, against pub rules.

They took exception to the bouncer’s instructions to take the drinks back inside and launched a terrifying attack.
Mr Amin, 27, said the men turned aggressive as soon as he asked them.
“I was working security at the hotel and four guys came in for a drink. They were taking their glasses out of the venue and I asked them to stop doing that,” he said.
“They became very aggressive and out of nowhere one of them pulled out a machete. He hit me on the top of my head.
“I had a big gash on my head. I was in hospital for two weeks and I’m just resting at home now. I can’t really move my neck and I still have pain in my neck and shoulders.”
Mr Amin said the men were of Middle Eastern appearance and called themselves “the Keys Boyz”.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward. They have no CCTV footage of the attack.
Police spokeswoman Alex Day said: “Police are investigating following the assault on security staff at a business address in Keysborough last month. The victim, a 27-year-old man, was conveyed to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police request anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.”
