POWERBROKERS in television, sport, music, politics and media converged for the society wedding of the year when Jeffrey Browne and Rhonda Wyllie married at the weekend.
Browne, the former Nine Network managing director, and property developer CEO Wyllie tied the knot on their 1528ha farm near Perth, before a star-studded guest list including Foreign Minister Julie Bishop, AFL Commission chairman Richard Goyder, and former TV power couple David Gyngell and Leila McKinnon.

Broadcaster Eddie McGuire, described by Browne as his “best mate”, flew west with his wife Carla to serve as master of ceremonies.
Culture Club superstar and The Voice coach Boy George was the wedding singer, performing his hits Purple Rain, Do You Really Want to Hurt Me, and It’s a Miracle for the 300 guests. Tim Campbell also performed.
The bride, wearing a custom-made J’Aton gown, walked down the aisle to Stevie Wonder’s Signed, Sealed, Delivered.
Other guests included ex-AFL chief Ross Oakley, Magpies great Peter Moore, cricketer Brendon Julian, Foxtel boss Patrick Delany, and North Melbourne chairman Ben Buckley.

Wyllie, executive director of the Wyllie Group, is one of Australia’s richest people.
Guests attended a “recovering brunch” at the farm on Sunday.
