Gossip Queen: Hart-break for Ashley as marriage ends

GENETICALLY blessed couple Ashley Hart and husband Buck Palmer have quietly separated, saying their relationship had turned from devoted love into a deep friendship.

Hart has spent the past few weeks in Australia attending the wedding of friends and catching with family and close confidents following the decision to end her marriage.

The genetically blessed couple who eloped in April 2015 confirmed the sad split yesterday saying their relationship had turned from devoted love into a deep friendship.

``Our happiness evolved into a deep friendship that we will always have, but we have come to the conclusion that the path forward for both of us is best travelled as separate journeys,’’ they said in a statement.

``We celebrate the time we had together and they are times we would never change.

``There is sadness in dreams unrealised however we continue to deeply love and respect each other and wish each other nothing but love and kindness.’’

Hart, the sister of international model Jess Hart, is a model and healthy living advocate.

She is the current face of Just Jeans and was previously the ambassador for the Australian Formula One Grand Prix, the Melbourne International Fashion Festival and the Spring Racing Ambassador for Swisse Wellness.

She is a yoga teacher and also appeared on Dancing With The Stars in 2014.

The couple ditched plans for a big wedding in 2015 and decided to jump on a plane and tie the knot in their adopted home of LA.

``We went totally boho, it was totally us and was perfect,’’ Hart said at the time, adding that she wore a vintage, long flowy dress for the occasion and she and Palmer both wore Akubras.

Palmer, a model and jewellery designer, proposed to Hart in the south of France in July 2014.

The couple had been apart for four months leading up to the engagement while Hart was immersed in a yoga teacher training course in India.
