Mystery is surrounding the sudden cancellation of a country music festival, leaving ticketholders wondering if they’ll get a refund.
The Boardwalk Country Music Festival, which was set to feature Jimmie Allen, Gavin DeGraw, Lee Kernaghan, Kasey Chambers and Casey Barnes, will no longer go ahead on April 29 at Broadwater Parklands.
There was radio silence on the Boardwalk Country Music Festival social media — their last post on Facebook was on March 22 and they haven’t posted to Instagram since November.
Promoter One World Entertainment have been frequently posting on their Facebook page, but have not mentioned cancelling the event.
Ticket promoters Oztix have “CANCELLED – Boardwalk Country Music Festival” on their landing page for tickets.
Artists contacted by News Corp have been told the event was cancelled.
One World Entertainment has been contacted for a comment.
