A man wanted by police following an alleged hit-run attack that left a woman fighting for life in her crumpled car has been identified as a well-known crook with alleged ties to the Bandidos.

Victoria Police have released an image of Jesse Reynolds, 23, who they believe may be able to assist in the investigation.

It’s believed Mr Reynolds, who is no stranger to police, may have fled to Queensland following the sickening collision in Marshall allegedly involving his own Holden Commodore and a small hatchback, being driven by a mother-of-two.

The head-on collision on July 17 was captured on CCTV footage and shows the Holden losing control and smashing into the Armstrong Creek schoolteacher’s Mazda.

She was flown to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a critical condition where she will remain indefinitely.

It’s believed the driver then fled the scene on foot – leaving the woman fighting for life.

He also abandoned his two injured associates who were passengers in his vehicle.
