The end of the school year is closing in and students will be ready to enjoy the sunshine and some well-deserved time off.

The school holidays start on December 20 for state schools and students will return on January 29, while some students from non-government schools have already finished for the year.

Between Christmas and entering the new year there are plenty of activities for the festive season.
