Drysdale co-coach Tom Ruggles will front the tribunal in an effort to scrap a one-week suspension, while four other players were slapped with bans from AFL Barwon.
Ruggles was reported for carelessly striking Torquay’s Weylin Doyle and was issued a one-week ban, but the star playing co-coach will challenge the findings on the incident.
Thomson’s Brent Macleod will also challenge his ban after he was suspended for two weeks for intentionally striking Winchelsea’s Dylan Williams, with no footage of the incident available.
Geelong Amateur’s Sam Darley was offered a two-week suspension for intentionally striking Anglesea’s Matthew Connell.
In the GFL, Lara Ben O’Brien was offered a two-week suspension for engaging in rough conduct with Giants Maxwell Kelly.
In the GDFL, Bell Post Hill’s Dylan Witney was issued a two-match suspension for engaging in rough conduct with East Geelong’s Tim McLennan.
