THE national president of the Finks outlaw bikie gang is going house hunting in Victoria because he cannot find a job in Sydney.

Kosh Radford, aka Koshan Rashidi, appeared in Parramatta Local Court last week agreeing to post a second $10,000 surety so he can move to Endeavour Hills, a sleepy suburb 31km southeast of the Melbourne CBD for work.

Radford’s lawyer Asem Taleb told the court his client had been forced to go back to look for work in the construction industry in Victoria, having previously held jobs there in the past.

Radford, 39, is facing six charges including resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer after he allegedly set his dog on two male constables at his Annangrove home in Sydney’s north-west last month.

The two constables from the Hills Local Area Command attended Radford’s home about 10pm on November 13 with the Finks president allegedly becoming aggressive, repeatedly threatening the officers before allegedly urging his dog to attack their pair.

The officers finally managed to arrest Radford with the bikie granted conditional bail the following day at Parramatta Local Court.

Just a few days earlier, on November 8, Radford was barred from entering Bali and sent back home to Sydney after Indonesian Police received a tip-off from Australian intelligence sources.

Radford, his wife, child and mother-in-law arrived in Bali on a flight from Sydney. All three left after Raford was immediately stopped by Immigration and refused entry.

Radford was travelling on an Australian passport which notes his place of birth as Kabul, Afghanistan.

They were sent home on the next flight, arriving in Sydney the next morning.

Radford is considered a high-value target for Australian law enforcement agencies.

According to an Indonesian Police Facebook post, just a few days after Radford was blocked from entering the country two more Finks members, Barbour Scott James, 23 and Albert Fonaciari Troy, 34, were also stopped at customs and sent back to Sydney.

Radford took control of the Finks motorcycle club following their 2013 merger with the Mongols, which resulted in a wholesale ‘patch over’.

Police Prosecutor Charlotte Vasey told the court Radford had previously been the subject of extradition orders to South Australia and Victoria and was subject to several warrants issued by NSW Police.

Mr Taleb told the court Radford had already planned to move to Victoria before the alleged incident outside his house on November 13 and this was not move to avoid his court case.

“The previous extradition matters in South Australia and Victoria were all dismissed. Your honour my client will appear on his next court date, we have not made an application to seek that he be excused,” Mr Taleb said in court.

“He (Radford) made arrangements to move to Victoria before these alleged offences occurred. He has no residence here in Sydney.”

Magistrate Theo Tsavdaridis granted the bail variation on the condition an additional $10,000 was entered as a surety if Radford failed to comply with his bail conditions and Radford must report to Endeavour Hills Police Station in Victoria on Thursday.

Radford has pleaded not guilty to his six charges and is scheduled to reappear before Parramatta Local Court in January next year.
