Emergency services were called to the property at approximately 5.30am yesterday where Gibson Clarence Misi had allegedly set a piece of furniture on fire.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency spokeswoman confirmed that no one was physically injured in the fire.

“QAS treated a woman for possible smoke inhalation and fire crews assisted with dampening down the scene.”

His defence lawyer is seeking a brief of evidence and Mr Misi has been remanded in custody until the next mention on July 7.
