The TAB Northern Queensland Winter Racing Carnival arrived at Cannon Park on Saturday for the Cairns Newmarket Race Day.
The first day of the annual Cairns Cup Racing Carnival was headlined by the $75,000 Cairns Newmarket, while the $50,000 Belle of the Daintree Fillies and Mares Benchmark 70 Handicap also featured on the card.
