Accused double murderer Beau Lamarre-Condon’s mum and sister also worked for NSW Police

The cop accused of murdering former TV reporter Jesse Baird and his partner Luke Davies has blue in his blood, with both his mum and sister employed by the NSW Police Force in the past.

Australian Police Officer Charged with Murder Over Missing Sydney Couple

Beau Lamarre-Condon came from a family of cops; blue was in his blood.

Sources said his mother has been an unsworn civilian NSW Police employee, while his sister had joined the cops in 2022 and was stationed with the radio communications unit.

Before Lamarre-Condon was charged with a double murder in Paddington that shocked Sydney this week, both his mother and sister were subject to scrutiny.

Mum Coleen Lamarre last November successfully defended a speeding charge in the Downing Centre Local Court, where she pleaded guilty but was not convicted.

When approached at her Balmain home on Friday, neither she nor her partner wished to talk about the tragedy.

The home saw several officers come and go throughout the day, as well as a wellwisher bringing flowers.

His sister Jamila Lamarre-Condon, 25, had been on the beat as a cop for less than a year before she was sacked for not getting a Covid vaccine in 2022.

Ms Lamarre-Condon was working as a radio communications officer at the time she was given her marching orders, on her birthday.

One of the state’s most senior officers, Deputy Commissioner Paul Pisanos, informed her that not getting the Covid vaccine was considered misconduct.

“I, a young mother of 25 years of age, was then dismissed from the New South Wales Police Force for nothing more and nothing less than asking questions,” she said at the Industrial Relations Commission hearing.

“Asking health and safety related questions is what ultimately led to my referral to the conduct unit. An allegation of misconduct then proceeded and finally a harsh, unfair and (un)just dismissal.

“Asking questions is the beginning and the end of the conduct in which I engaged.”

The unfair dismissal case was later thrown out.

Neither Lamarre-Condon’s mother or sister are accused of having any involvement in the deaths of the two men in Paddington.

One source described how the Lamarre-Condon siblings owned a swimwear line. The brother and sister are both listed as directors of Ivy Swim Pty Ltd, al though its website shows no sign of them.

When it came to his private life, one person formerly close to Lamarre-Condon said he would never mention his job as a cop, instead saying he ran online businesses.

When asked about a picture of him with Kourtney Kardashian last week he told the person he was able to snag the picture in between her shooting for a new show.

“When I saw the photo online last night it took me by surprise, seeing him in a police uniform,” they said.

“He never shared that with me.

“He would pop up and reappear and be persistent about catching up. If we couldn’t meet he would keep asking in different ways across three hours.”

On one dating app profile he described the “key to my heart” as: “Beach days, travel and an active lifestyle”, while others remember him driving a Tesla and owning a french bulldog.

The 28-year-old’s account still had his age as 26 — although the account was no longer active as of 9.30am on Friday, and his Instagram was disabled on Sunday night.

Others familiar with the Sydney celebrity scene recalled him autograph hunting on the city’s red carpets as a teenager, a hobby he had been engaging in for more than decade.

Lamarre-Condon’s social media pages are littered with pictures of meetings with the likes of Taylor Swift, Ryan Gosling, Harry Styles and Selena Gomez.

Lamarre-Condon previously found himself at the centre of a public scandal in 2020.

He was identified as the officer in a viral video who was accused of tasering a man in the face.

He was later cleared by an internal police investigation of any wrongdoing.
