'We're at this point of the holidays': Carrie Bickmores post has school parents relating

She's over it, we're all over it! What has marked the end of you loving this never-ending summer break?

Carrie Bickmore shares daughters' reactions to her Bluey character

It appears as though Carrie Bickmore's children are in their slime era. And we don't say that in a good way, but rather with a whole lot of sympathy.

The Aussie personality and mum-of-three posted a recent snap on social media that shows her two younger daughters, Evie and Adelaide, had gotten up to a bit of mischief at home during the final weeks of their summer break.

"We are at this point of the school holidays," she captioned the shot.

In the photo, you can see a heap of spilled mess on the floor which includes all the ingredients needed to make a sticky and gooey creation, including a box of corn flour and food colouring - both never good when dropped on the floor!

She's over it, we're all over it!

The star's post had many parents relating over the never-ending summer school holidays and our feelings as we reach the home stretch to school finally going back.

"Absolutely relating 🫣😂," one fan wrote.

"The slime era….us too 🤦‍♀️," another commented along with another in the same boat: "I feel so seen! Right there with you!"

Other fans said that while they certainly sympathised with her, at least the little ones were enjoying themselves.

"That’s a picture of a good time; a good time had by someone… 😂," they laughed.

When will the school holidays end?

The comments that flooded Carrie's hilarious post all seemed to have a common theme: parents who were completely over the school holidays and wanting term 1 to start already!

"So you're at the ‘they need to go back to school immediately’ stage 😂😂😂," one person laughed.

Others chimed in with "the holidays are too long! 🙈🤣" and "January really is the longest month!"

But some fans did offer some messages of support and encouragement.

"Just keep going - two weeks to go 👊😂," one commented.

"Sending strength mama 🙏🏽," another chimed in.

Moving on as a solo mama

Around this time last year, Carrie shared the shocking news that she was separating from her partner of a decade, Chris Walker.

“Hi there. It’s with immense sadness that (Carrie) and I have decided to separate,” she wrote, in unison with Chris.

“While this is a tough time, our focus is to concentrate on parenting, loving and supporting our three amazing children, Ollie, Evie and Addie with everything we’ve got. They are doing great.

“We won’t be making any further comment at this stage.”
