How would you describe your personal style?

A classic base with a quirky twist.

Who are your style icons?

I am inspired by people who embrace their own unique style. I really like the style of Marta Ferri, Maria de la Orden and Lucinda Chambers.

What’s the oldest thing in your wardrobe?

A Bottega Veneta woollen knit with gold thread embroidery that belonged to my mother in the 80s.

What are your favourite brands?

Loewe, Lee Mathews, Cecile, Rosie Assoulin.

What is the most surprising thing in (or about) your wardrobe?

My wardrobe is such a mix of high and low pieces. I have vintage pieces and new and then expensive pieces and bargain finds. I think that really sums up my whole fashion and style ethos – mixing things up to create my own style.

A navy cashmere fitted knit top. A long skirt. A trench coat.

What is the most sentimental item in your wardrobe?

My art deco 3 diamond ring that belonged to my great aunt who was a fashion designer in the 1940s which was then handed down to my aunt and then handed down to me.

What would you buy if money was no object?

I’d get a couture gown custom made by Dior.

Both.

Dresses.

Heels or sneakers?

Sneakers.

Is there anything in your wardrobe you have regretted throwing out?

A black Carla Zampati wrap skirt that my mum bought me to wear on my first day of work as an apprentice designer.

How many pairs of shoes do you own?

Too many.

Favourite fashion era?

80s.

Loewe handbag that my boyfriend bought me.

Best bargain fashion purchase this year?

Some cream canvas sneakers I bought for $12.
