Breakfast with an 18-year-old teen mum with a two-year-old

Into a silicone plate, she placed half a blueberry muffin and then sandwiched little biscuits together with peanut butter.

She also poured a bottle of chocolate milk into a sippy cup and brought the plate into her daughter's room.

The video has now racked up over eight million views, but people were quick to mum-shame Mari in the comments for the sugar content of the meal.

"That much sugar on breakfast? But whyyy?!"

"What kind of breakfast is this?" one asked.

"Girl this is not breakfast this is cake!!!! Poor kid!!!" said someone else.

"This is just sugar?" a third person remarked.

"Very unhealthy breakfast for an adult and for a child! More vitamins and nutrients are better than sugar," a different person wrote.

Then a fellow teen mum commented, "I'm an 18-year-old with a toddler too and I know we get tired sometimes but don’t forget nutrition! Something easy like scrambled eggs, fruit smoothie or oats with honey."

Then someone took the shaming a step further and wrote, "Cookies and sweets are breakfast? Are you joking? That's why not everyone should be a parent, especially at that young age."

"At least she has nails but no time to cook a proper breakfast," someone else concluded.

"Your child is fed, that's the main thing"

Then some people defended the mum, with one person saying, "What are people on about, it's literally a normal for breakfast, did you even have childhood?"

"You actually shame mums for EVERYTHING. You are doing good mumma," encouraged someone else.

"Your child is fed, that's the main thing," commented a different viewer.

"Mine had Halloween candy and a piece of popcorn she found in the couch. You’re doing fine," a fellow mum assured.

"Some of these people in the comments need to realise every child is different, some kids won’t eat healthier options for breakfast and are picky," another comment read.
