'Obsessed' Shoppers are loving Big W $40 linen dupe of major fashion brand

But if you're like us, you might not want to fork out hundreds for a high-quality set, just to wear to the beach and get sweaty in.

The $40 dupe of a $900 set

Taking to the Fashionista Style Guide Facebook group, user Nina shared a photo of the colourful two-piece shirt and top set she spotted in Big W recently. 

She then placed the image side by side with the Alemais set and while it's not identical, we can definitely see the similarities.

They both feature quirky prints in bold colours like blue, yellow and orange and drawings of leaves, mythological creatures and sea creatures. 

One of the main differences of course, like any good dupe, are the price tags.

The Big W Women's Linen Blend J'adore Print Resort Shirt is $20 and the matching Linen Blend J'adore Print Resort Shorts are also $20, meaning the whole set costs just $40!

Meanwhile, the similar Alemais Soleil Oversized Shirt and Pants will cost you a cool $900. 

While the Alemais set might be a big step up in quality, we're betting you'll soak up those vacay vibes just as much with the Big W dupe as it's got that comfy, easy-breezy feel thanks to a mix of linen and viscose.

And with a saving of $860, we'll take it.

"I'm getting this set ASAP"

The reaction online has been enthusiastic, with many saying they're 'running' to Big W to get their hands on it. 

"Yess!" one person said, adding, "We broke people want nice stuff too!"

Another savvy shopper couldn't contain their excitement, adding, "So cute, I'm getting this set ASAP."

Then this woman shared, "I bought the top and a plain cami to wear under it from Big W. I was happy to see something fun and on-trend for a change."

And because Big W doesn't discriminate, they also brought out matching men's shorts and a shirt in the same fun print!

They're really taking matching sets to a new level, so now you can match with your partner too (that is if they agree to it! 😂)
