Michelle Bridges praised by fans for ‘natural’ selfie
The fitness star, 51, has been praised after sharing a selfie following a day at the beach that fans labelled her “best photo yet”.

Michelle Bridges has been praised online after sharing a “natural” selfie taken after spending the day at the beach.
The Sydney-based personal trainer shot to fame as a coach on The Biggest Loser back in 2007 and has since appeared in an array of glamorous appearances on our TV screens.
But on Sunday, the 51-year-old shared a selfie showing her “natural beauty” with her 276,000 followers – and she was quickly applauded for the move online.
In the snap, the mum-of-one can be seen lying on the couch, her signature sleek brunette hair in its natural curly form.
“Beach hair, don’t care,” she captioned the image.
As well as rocking the beach hair, Michelle also appears to be without make-up, a detail followers lapped up.
“Um this is your bestest look ever!” one wrote.
“Stunning, you’re a natural beauty,” another said.
“I’ve been sporting the same hairdo since before Christmas. I love holiday hair and no make-up,” one woman added.
While one fan declared the unfiltered snap Michelle’s “best photo yet”.
Others raved about the fitness star’s natural hair, explaining it was a style some people paid big bucks to achieve.
“That beach hair is gorgeous!” one said.
“Don’t ever blow dry it again, natural beauty!” another insisted.
“Embrace the beach hair – it suits you,” someone else mused.
One follower even claimed: “Gorgeous. Love it. I didn’t even recognise you.”
The “au naturale” photo is a rare find in Michelle’s social media feed which regularly promotes her fitness brand and professional duties.
She last shared a photo taken at a beach in February 2021 where she could be seen wearing a bikini adorned with beads on the neckline.
In July, Michelle apologised for an old comment she made about her pregnancy with son Axel, now six.
The author and 12 Week Body Transformation founder gave birth in 2015 when she was 45, and sparked outrage with a comment suggesting she was able to fall pregnant because of her exercise regimen.
She was quickly slammed for the comment but in a podcast interview last year she reflected on the remark, labelling it “naive”.
Michelle regularly shares snaps of her son who she shares with ex Steve “Commando” Willis on social media, previously describing having a “close bond” with the boy.
