Olympia Valance drops Saints for new beau Tom Bellchambers

Melbourne’s newest super WAG Olympia Valance has done a mid-season trade, dropping St Kilda in favour of her new boyfriend’s team, Essendon.

Melbourne’s newest super WAG Olympia Valance has done a mid-year trade, swapping football teams in the name of love.

Valance, who is dating Essendon player Tom Bellchambers, has followed her heart to the Bombers.

“I am an Essendon fan now, I am Essendon through and through. I used to be St Kilda, but things have changed,” she said.

She admits her private life is now mirroring her personal life.

“I am a real WAG and a fake WAG all at the same time,” she said.

“Not many people can say that.”

Valance and her castmates Madeleine West, Annie Maynard, Cecelia Peters and Isabella Giovinazzo were back on set in Brighton last week to kick off the filming of the second season of the Channel 10 series Playing For Keeps.

Valance plays Tahlia, the girlfriend of a star footballer.

With her partner now providing her an entree into the world of AFL, Valance said she had quickly realised some of the seemingly exaggerated storylines on Playing For Keeps were actually closer to the truth than she expected.

“The one thing that I promised Thomas is that I would never divulge any of the (AFL) stories but, my god, there are some,” she said.

“But to be fair, what we are doing on the show is very, very accurate. Which makes me very happy.”
